Rediscovering our Roots: The Future of Nature Cure
Prepare for the 9th annual Naturopathic Student Gathering in 2012 at the campus of National University of Health Sciences in Chicagoland! The weekend of November 9-11, 2012 will be filled with an abundance of positive energy and learning in an atmosphere of shared wisdom from the Elders of our profession. Experience the roots of Naturopathic Philosophy and Medicine on a campus built upon and maintaining a foundation of integrated medical practice.
The Gathering was first conceived in 2002 by a group of dedicated SCNM students determined to find a way to highlight the importance of Naturopathic philosophy and its rightful place at the center of Naturopathic Medicine. These students envisioned an event capturing the hearts and minds of their colleagues as well as practicing doctors; reminding all that our medicine has deep roots in Nature and the Vis. The Gathering offers an opportunity to explore the true depth and scope of our medicine, while highlighting uniquely Naturopathic techniques and modalities.
The Gathering has grown from a small conference at SCNM in 2004, to over 250 attendants at the Gathering 2009. The Gathering at NUHS in 2012 will bring the determination of those first students in 2004 back to Lindlahr’s home with the intent of passing the flame of our philosophy forward to the future’s Naturopathic doctors!
